Our Union:
I've slowly learned that the union is what you make of it. I personally take an active role in the Union but everyone has a different role and all the roles are important. I stand in unity to fight for the rights my Brothers/Sisters fought for. I am very proud of what members have gained.

Good and bad about the job:
I love the people -- every person that gets on the bus is an individual with something to teach me. The worst thing about the job is the political aspect, too many hoops to jump thru to get something fixed.
The traffic:
Traffic doesn't bother me, I am being paid. I feel for the other guy in his car all alone, not being paid.
The best thing:
How lucky am I, every second the view from my window changes. That doesn't happen in an office.
The worst thing:
It isn't easy driving in the extreme heat and cold. Second worst thing is the smells you can encounter on the bus.
My job in the scheme of things:
I am just another cog in the wheel that moves people around. But I try to make a difference for someone every day.
A message to Translink riders:
Smile, life can't be that bad. Also if you are upset about the route, contact your MLA, your Mayor or your councillor.
What my job involves:
Moving workers, seniors, students and families to where they want to go. And hopefully safely.
Dealing with the public:
I treat everyone the way I want to be treated. I treat every senior as if they were my mother or father.
The value of Translink:
Gee is there one? I guess it creates another level of municipal government so that the Translink members can collect another salary.
Memorable Stories:
A man got on and proceed to move five large Rubbermaid containers on. He kept apologizing for the delay, explaining how he just left his girlfriend. As we proceeded he continued complaining about her and speaking badly of her. I just listened and nodded. As he was getting off, he asked "Are you single, do you want to go out?". I replied "Thank God I am married."
